The Dignified Jobs for Women in Construction program is a high-impact, four month practical skilling initiative designed to move young women in Busiika, Uganda, from low-wage, unskilled labor into meaningful careers within the construction Industry.

Currently supporting over 50 women from the local community, the program provides intensive, hands-on training in essential trades like bricklaying, block work, and basic blueprint reading. This partnership between SASA College of Industrial Design, Mirembe Community College, the Mastercard Foundation, and Digital Opportunity Trust focuses on equipping trainees with industry ready skills that can command a higher pay to change their lives.
